This week in honor of Hispanic Heritage, let’s take an imaginary trip beyond the hardwood and into the vibrant heart of Puerto Rico, as we honor two of Daytona State’s men’s basketball players, Niko Albino-Sanz and Adiel Lopez. Adiel Lopez, from Carolina PR, and Niko Albino-Sanz, from Bayamón PR, were recruited to play on a high school team while playing in Puerto Rico, eventually leading them to Daytona State. Yet, even as they chase their basketball dreams here, their roots remain firmly plant
