A sandstone and granite field stone pillar I built. It's 1 meter wide and 2 meters high. Built with a dry joint, raked back so it can't be seen. The stone came from an old mill on the property. This was an important one for me because I literally live over the hill from them and would be passing them every day. There is something special about using stone that was already laid 100 years plus ago. I hope that these pillars show how much them men's work was appreciated and respected #buildingstone
