The Quad Father evolved his hack squat into a “sissy” hack squat after time spent mentoring with Vince Gironda. Although, Gironda was not able to convince Platz to stop squatting, he did convince him of the value in the Sissy Squat to more effectively develop the quad sweep and train the rectus femoris muscle. Platz “Hack Machine” variation enables you to safely load the quads more in a sissy squat position which can easily be replicated with a landmine setup as demonstrated. @rangeofstrengthnet
