CARMEN'S COMEBACK BAWA found Carmen aimlessly wandering in a parking area beside a busy road, diminished to just crusty skin and bones. She was so thin that she could hardly walk. She was malnutritioned with muscle wasting caused by emaciation, demodectic mange, a fungal infection, blood parasites and a ruptured ligament. We can only imagine how long she had been there suffering so. The BAWA ambulance team picked her up and rushed her to the closest clinic. We don’t think she would have survived
