When I wrote this bit in 2007 I actually tried to find straight jokes on the internet and all I found was straight people complaining that gay people could tell straight jokes, but straight people couldn’t tell gay jokes. I didn’t actually find any straight jokes. So I made some up. I took inspiration from all the gay jokes I had to listen to as a kid. They aren’t great but writing them was cathartic.
