A truck driver on the U.S. side of the new Gordie Howe International Bridge says he was trying to locate the Ambassador Bridge — and accidentally entered the under-construction span. Canadian officials intercepted him before any crossing occurred. The $5.7 billion bridge remains closed to traffic as officials conduct final testing.
