With less than a month left in the WNBA regular season, the Minnesota Lynx have a firm lock on the top seed in the playoffs.
Minnesota Lynx star and WNBA MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier has been upgraded to questionable for the team's game against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday. Collier has not played since Aug. 2 due to a sprained right ankle and had an initial recovery timeline of at least two weeks.
Since late May, Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has been the betting favorite to win MVP at the BetMGM online sportsbook. She remains a -325 favorite, giving her an implied probability of 76.47%, despite being out for more than two weeks with an ankle injury.
The WNBA playoffs will begin at 1 p.m. ET on September 14, with Game 7 of the WNBA Finals set for 8 p.m. ET on October 17. Of course, the Finals could end before depending on how many games of the best-of-seven series wind up being necessary. All games will be broadcast on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
The WNBA announced Wednesday its full schedule for the 2025 playoffs, which will tip off on Sept. 13 and extend as far as Oct. 17.
