Tesla Starts Taking Orders for Its New Model Y L in China From Around $47,200
BEIJING (Reuters) -Tesla Inc has launched its Model Y L in China with a starting price of 339,000 yuan ($47,184), according to its post on Chinese social media platform Weibo. The Model Y L is a six-seat version of its best-selling Model Y with a longer wheelbase.
CEO Elon Musk said its new Model Y variant, launched in China, may never enter production domestically, citing the rise of self-driving vehicles.
