Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham will miss the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season because of an MCL tear in her right knee, the team announced Tuesday.  She suffered the injury in Sunday's game against the Connecticut Sun.

After Cunningham went down with a tough knee injury during the two teams' game on Sunday, Mabrey was one of the first people to run toward the Fever star with an outstretched towel in hand — ready and prepared to shield her from cameras and fans while the team figured out how serious the injury was.
