Not everyone is a fan of the possible bout between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis that was reported on Aug. 20. One boxer was especially vocal in his criticism of the fight, citing the weight difference between Paul and Davis, a lightweight champion.

Boxing star Gervonta Davis is no longer facing a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from a June 15 incident involving the mother of his two children. Davis, 30, was arrested on July 11 in Broward County, Fla., following allegations that he physically assaulted the woman during a heated argument outside her home.

Lamont Roach Jr. wasted no time clowning Gervonta Davis after Netflix briefly posted a fight announcement that paired “Tank” Davis with none other than Jake Paul. Roach, who was supposed to face Davis back on August 16 before Tank failed to sign the contract, sent a clear message on social media, per SI.
