Bayern Munich have confirmed Jamal Musiala sustained a fractured fibula during Saturday's Club World Cup defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. Vincent Kompany 's team went down 2-0 in the quarter-finals, as the European champions showed their quality. However, it was a serious injury to Musiala that made the headlines.

Musiala was stretchered off the pitch after appearing to suffer a bad lower leg injury, with the Bayern Munich midfielder visibly distressed as he left the pitch during the quarterfinal against PSG in Atlanta.
