Cynthia Erivo wore a chic pinstripe suit and tie to the NAACP Image Awards on Saturday, Feb. 22. The 'Wicked' star earned two nominations for this year's ceremony.

Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo, who has been earning awards left and right, has been picked to be the host of the Tony Awards.

Erivo is currently nominated for an Oscar for her role in Wicked, adapted from the Broadway musical and Gregory Maguire novel. She won a Tony for The Color Purple in 2016.

Erivo is a former Tony winner herself, having captured the best actress in a musical prize in 2016 for her turn in the Broadway revival of “The Color Purple.” She is currently nominated for an Oscar for her work as Elphaba in “Wicked.
