EBERECHI EZE could still play in Crystal Palace’s European opener - as his proposed move to Tottenham drags on. Spurs are pushing hard to sign the England star, 27. And while it is believed a deal worth in the region of £60million is close, it is understood there remains a sticking point over payment conditions.

Ebere Eze took part in Crystal Palace training ahead of their Conference League clash with Fredrikstad. Tottenham are in talks with Palace to sign Eze and are reportedly close to completing a deal, but the 27-year-old look set to feature for his current side on Thursday as it stands.

Tottenham are working hard to sell Yves Bissouma, Manor Solomon and Bryan Gil and are fully expecting all three to leave before the deadline, sources have told TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey. Bissouma was left out of Tottenham’s UEFA Super Cup squad, with Frank having been left frustrated by the player’s lateness to training.
