Near record-setting attendance to kick off 2025 Minnesota State Fair
Fair officials say 137,148 people walked through the gates of the Great Minnesota Get-Together on Thursday, about 1,700 shy of last year's opening day record. Last year, five attendance records fell, including the overall record, which was set on Sunday, Sept. 1, when 256,015 people visited the fairgrounds.
