In downtown Minneapolis, some buildings were without power late Monday afternoon after a transformer likely exploded near Ninth Street and Hennepin Avenue, the Minneapolis Fire Department (MFD) said.

Officials say a transformer explosion on Cleveland's west side knocked down multiple power lines, causing widespread outages in the area.

The lawsuits stem from an April 21 explosion and fire on the North Side and a Feb. 8 transformer fire on the West Side.
