Action sets User-configurable action sets are a recently added feature of the Steam Controller. As of this writing, this feature is only available in the Steam beta client.

Steam's own odd Steam Controller solution, however, doesn't exactly mesh with some gamers. Fortunately, there is another solution available: the PS4 DualShock4 controller.

Steam users will be able to configure the PS4's DualShock 4 just like a Steam Controller.

To customize the Steam Controller, launch Steam Big Picture mode. You can open the controller configuration menu regardless of whether a game is running.
