Cal true freshman Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, a Campbell High School standout, has won the starting quarterback job, Golden Bears coach Justin Wilcox announced today.

Freshman Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele was named as the starting quarterback for Cal at Oregon State on Aug. 30, beating out Ohio State transfer Devin Brown. Sagapolutele joins Jared Goff as the only true freshman quarterbacks to start a season opener at Cal.
