Brent Rooker is heading to the Midsummer Classic for the second time in his career. The former Mississippi State star, who now plays for the Athletics, was named to the American League All-Star team as a reserve. Rooker’s first appearance in the MLB All-Star Game came in 2023. He went 1 for 2 with a double in that game.

The A's will have a second representative at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, as Brent Rooker was named an All-Star as the American League's second DH today. He will join A's shortstop Jacob Wilson in Atlanta later this month.
