According to a news release, the subpoenas will investigate whether Roblox's actions aid child predators in gaining easy access to children who use the gaming site.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is launching an investigation into developer Roblox Corporation, alleging that the online game creator Roblox is a "breeding ground" for predators that enables child abuse.

Roblox facing several Central Florida lawsuits questioning the company's safety features
Roblox is a free gaming app you can download onto a phone, tablet, computer, or gaming console and encourages users to interact with one another. Now, there are three lawsuits from Central Florida filed recently,
“Roblox is exploiting our children while exposing them to the most dangerous kinds of harm and enabling their abuse,” Uthmeier said in a video posted on social media. “It’s a breeding ground for predators to access kids.”
As of 16th October 2025, Southwest Florida doesn’t currently have any active codes (and it’s been a bit since a new one has been added).
