At the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, Mercedes-AMG introduced its latest limited edition: the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ “Motorsport Collectors Edition.” This exclusive model is capped at just 200 units, designed to capture the essence of motorsport while offering top-tier luxury and performance.

AMG has just dropped a limited edition bombshell that’ll make even the most seasoned gearhead do a double take. Say hello to the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ “Motorsport Collectors Edition,” a mouthful of a name for a car that’s all about track-day thrills and visual overload.

Mercedes-Benz plans a Formula One-inspired special edition of the 603-hp track-tuned AMG GT coupe. The German luxury automaker will offer 200 copies of the 2025 AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ Motorsport Collectors Edition.

AMG GT might be fresh out of the box, but already there is an F1-themed special edition. Named the (deep breath) Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro Motorsport Collectors Edition, the new model takes direct inspiration from the German marque’s Formula One team.

While the four-door GT looks like a slightly sportier saloon / sedan model, the GT 63 two-door coupé has more in common with the SL. Its overall design reminds me of the early beginnings of the SL with its gullwing doors, as well as other sporty models like the SLS that have now faded into history.

The Motorsport Collectors Edition uses an unchanged powertrain from the AMG GT 63 Pro – a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, channelling 603bhp and 850Nm of torque through a nine-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. That means a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 197mph.

Limited to just 200 units worldwide, the Motorsport Collectors Edition wears Obsidian Black Metallic paint with hand-applied Mercedes stars and bright green accents—all elements that have appeared on recent Mercedes-AMG F1 cars. A carbon fiber front splitter, side sill trim, rear diffuser, and fixed rear wing are included as well.
