If a computer monitor is dying, it displays signs or symptoms like Dim colors, Screen flickering, Color distortion, Dead pixels, Backlight bleeding, etc.

The backlight stays on when the PC is put into standby or switched to use external display. Google isn't helping me so I thought I'd turn to Ars for support.<BR><BR>Thanks!
