GM has issued a voluntary emission recall for the 2024 Chevy Silverado HD and 2024 GMC Sierra HD trucks to properly adjust fuel injector flow.

Certain units of the 2023-2024 Chevy Colorado pickup are included in a new GM Service Update containing a fix available for a fuel injector flow rate problem.

The '06-and-newer injector quantity adjustment (IQA) injectors are flow-matched to the engine calibration software for variations at different duty-cycles.

The difference is the injector flow rates. The 5.0L injectors flow 40 to 45 lb/hr, the 5.7 ones are 50 to 55 lb/hr, and the big-block injectors flow around 75 lb/hr.
