The parents of a 7-month-old California boy missing for nearly a week are being urged to rejoin the search as public scrutiny of the couple grows.

As San Bernardino County investigators search for 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro after he was allegedly taken from a California parking lot, they revealed that dad Jake Haro's car was taken in.

The mystery of a missing 7-month-old boy in Yucaipa took another twist when authorities confirmed Wednesday that they removed a 2-year-old child from the home of the same couple that reported the infant missing last week.

After Rebecca Haro reported that her 7-month-old son Emmanuel Haro was kidnapped during an attack in a parking lot, which left her unconscious, police noted "inconsistencies" in her story.

The Cabazon couple turned over the electronics listed in a search warrant, as well as passwords, the attorney said. “This whole family wants their son found,” he said.

The baby’s mom had stopped speaking with authorities after she was confronted with “inconsistencies” in her story.
